Memorial Day

"Murph"

for time:
1 mile run
100 pull-ups
200 push-ups
300 squats
1 mile run

Partition the reps as needed. Start and end with a mile. If you have a 20lb weight vest or body armor wear it.

In memory of Navy Lieutenant Michael Murphy, 29, of Patchogue, N.Y., who was killed in Afghanistan June 28th, 2005. This workout was one of Mike's favorites and he'd named it 'Body Armor.' From here on it will be referred to as 'Murph' in honor of the focused warrior and great American who wanted nothing more in life than to serve this great country and the beautiful people who make it what it is.

  2. 57:28 on my own in Seminole, with some very confused onlookers in the park. I'm privileged to be able to honor our servicemen and women in this way. .

Way to go, everyone! Amie, y'all are awesome :)

  3. Bretani, what the heck, get back here. Good job, McCoys, and excellent work knocking this out on your own, Ciera. I'm sure people thought you were nuts haha.

I kept up with Will!!....he may have had a weight vest on though. And I may not have. But I mean still, that's a big deal. 41:15, and I owe a thanks to Will for keeping me alive on the last mile, so thank you sir.
