To all the would-be wod skippers. Don't cheat yourself! If you suck at rowing, that's a good reason to show up today. I hate running but I still come even though I know it's gonna suck, but if I don't work on it, it won't get any easier!
All that said, Carol come tear it up today, it's a fun workout!
Let me just say I am already stoked about this. I hope someone in whichever afternoon class I go to is as pumped as I am about it. Team awesome, thanks for setting the bar high. it's game on haha. Love the picture by the way
bing i'm excited to see what you can do carol- you better be ready to rock, this row has to be better than 24 minutes as a team of 4 right? kercho- well said caroline- what are you doing today wod wise?
I loved this workout. I really enjoy doing team stuff and being pushed by others/pushing others. It makes such a huge difference.
Team We-May-Have-Slightly-Overestimated-Our-Super-Human-Abilities...Though-They-Are-Still-Superhuman-Nonetheless (Jesse & Michael):
19:06.7
Explanation of the team name: I had the idea that we could do 1000m, 1000m, 1000m, 1000m, 500m, 500m. As you can probably guess, that most likely wasn't our best option. We each pretty much put in our first 1000m, then split it up by 500's the rest of the way out. Props to Jesse for putting up with my over-zealous idea and pushing hard all the way through. It was a blasty blast.
George wants to thank Daren for posting the WOD's...he loves dreading the workout all day. It helps him prepare for his dramatic presentation of how they make us all feel.
I've been missing my 5 am crew, sickness is never fun. See you guys maƱana!
Get it Carol!!!!
