christmas ladder

present wrapping gone bad

start a clock:
1st minute- 4 push-ups
2nd minute- 6 push-ups
3rd minute- 8 push-ups
4th minute- 10 push-ups
5th minute- 12 push-ups

continue pattern until you can't complete the required reps in a minute

the reps start on the top of the minute and any time you have left after the reps until the next minute is rest. All push-ups are chest to ground from the feet.

cool down challenge- hold the bottom of a squat for as long as you can- hips even with the knees.

  1. I'm pumped about this one! Atmittedly I did not do yesterdays, but I don't really have a good excuse not to do today's! And I love ladders should be a good challenge! My hams still hurt so I will not be doing the cool down challenge.

    Also - Charlie next time you plan Linda let me know, I'd love to join you!

  2. I failed in the 10th minute; where I was supposed to do 22 pushups, I only did 12. Totaled 120 pushups in 10 minutes.

    Cool down: 1:21. Now that I've set the bar, I'll simply wait for Josh to 1 up me haha. Do it!! Daren, now we just need you to chime in and we'll have our discussion for the day covered.

  3. Hey Guys! I loved this workout!! I have to say that since you posted your times Michael, it definitely gave me that last bit to finish the reps. I finished the 22 reps set but only did 11 in the next minute. My arms feel like jelly. Cool down: 1:50.

    Now the real test... politely averting the amazingly delicious baked goods that seem to pile themselves directly in front of me.

    WOD: lost it on the 22 round, hit 17 with a total of 125 pounds

  12. Burpees. AMRAP in 1 hour. Do another hour for a cool down. Gotta burn off all the food. Add 10 minutes every time you throw up. Let me know what you get so I can let you know I'm not doing it haha. 3-2-1-go.

    200 Double-unders
    135 pound Overhead squat, 50 reps
    50 Pull-ups
    Run 1 mile
